How Often Does my Baby Need to Go for a Check Up?

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children be seen at the following ages. However, as each baby and environment is different, and based on your baby's health, your paediatrician might recommend more or less frequent visits.

From Birth Until The First Birthday:

Newborn

3-5 days

1 Month

2 Months

4 Months

6 Months

9 Months

12 Months

After The First Birthday, Until Kindergarten:

15 months

18 months

24 months

30 months

3 years

4 to 21 years old:

Children and adolescents need a well child check up each year.
